Founded to help committed individuals and families in Huntington Beach, our in-home positive reinforcement dog training is fear-free, force-free, and reward-based. Moreover, it’s about cooperation to make good choices.
Importantly, we understand that the science supporting training using intimidation is not necessary to achieve your dog training goals. Therefore, we do not use leash pops, prong, choke, or remote training collars.

I founded Where Dogs Thrive Puppy and Dog Training in Huntington Beach after witnessing numerous pet parents overwhelmed by their dogs’ behavioral challenges. My mission is to help you have a confident, resilient family dog! Let’s start EARLY to proactively minimize future issues so you can stroll through the Farmers Market, visit Dog Beach, or enjoy brunch downtown at an outdoor cafe!
